Mission Statement

The National Congress of Black Canadians (NCBC) is a national organization that works towards ensuring that all people of African descent are united in their goal of achieving substantive equality in Canadian society, including, but not limited to economic, political, social, legal, and educational advancement.

Objectives

  • To ensure that all Canadians of African descent experience a substantive quality of life
  • To be empowered to change stereotypes that have a negative impact on the community
  • To advance the Black population through education, political mobilization and self determination
  • To work collectively in unity to uplift the Black population and shed the vestiges of historical and systematic discrimination

Vision

A Black population that works in unity to improve their quality of life and achieve excellence within Canadian society.
